Sharjah Chamber and Kalba Municipality cooperate to support local products

Sharjah, January 22 / WAM / The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by its branch in Kalba, today held a coordination meeting with the Kalba City Municipality at the municipality’s headquarters to discuss ways of joint cooperation in organizing a community economic event aimed at supporting the local product and empowering productive families, in addition to promoting the city of Kalba as a distinguished economic and tourist destination full of promising ingredients.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed the mechanisms for organizing the proposed event, the target groups of participants, and the importance of involving entrepreneurs, productive families, and farmers to display their products to visitors and consumers in a way that contributes to strengthening the local economy and creating sustainable marketing opportunities that benefit society.

The meeting was attended by Khalil Mohammed Al Mansouri, Director of Government Relations in the Communication and Business Sector at the Sharjah Chamber, Dr. Ahmed Al Mazrouei, Director of the Kalba City Municipality, Ali Mohammed Al Kindi, Director of the Sharjah Chamber branch in Kalba, and Mohammed Ahmed Al Darmaki, Director of the Chamber branch in Khor Fakkan, along with a number of officials in the municipality and the Chamber’s branches in Kalba and Khor Fakkan.

Khalil Mohammed Al Mansouri stressed that the Chamber is keen to build effective strategic partnerships with government agencies in a way that contributes to creating an environment conducive to business and supports entrepreneurs and productive families. He pointed out that organizing this event represents a real opportunity to highlight the promising economic and tourism potential of the city of Kalba, stressing the Chamber’s readiness to provide all forms of logistical and organizational support for the success of events that achieve the desired development goals.

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Mazrouei expressed the municipality’s welcome of this fruitful cooperation with the Sharjah Chamber, stressing the readiness of the Kalba Municipality to provide all the necessary facilities and support for the success of the proposed event, noting that the city of Kalba represents a distinguished tourist and economic destination replete with unique elements in light of the remarkable development witnessed in the city’s infrastructure and continuous coordination with various concerned authorities to attract visitors from inside and outside the country and delight them with an exceptional experience.
