Despite its modest season, Real Madrid has the highest income in football

Real Madrid maintained the top spot among the most profitable clubs in world football during the 2024-2025 season, while Liverpool achieved the largest revenues in the English Premier League for the first time, according to an annual financial list published on Thursday.
The Spanish club topped Deloitte’s financial league list with revenues of 1.16 billion euros ($1.36 billion) despite not winning the Spanish League or the Champions League.
As the only club to have generated more than $1 billion in the last two seasons, Real Madrid has benefited in 2024-25 from a huge rise in commercial revenues of 23 percent to 594 million euros, according to Deloitte figures.
Its arch rival and Spanish League title holder Barcelona came in second place with a value of 975 million euros, returning to the top three for the first time in five years.
German League champion Bayern Munich came in third place with a value of 861 million euros, ahead of Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain, who achieved 837 million euros.
Liverpool ranked fifth on the list with revenues of 836 million euros from the season in which they won the English Premier League, the strongest performance of any English club in the 29-year history of the classification.
Manchester City fell to sixth place with a value of 829 million euros, followed by Arsenal, the leader of the English Premier League this season, with a value of 822 million euros.
