5 decisive keys for Khor Fakkan in the first appearance of coach Karznar

This evening, the Khor Fakkan team will play an important confrontation with its host Al-Wasl in the professional league competitions, in its first appearance under the leadership of its new Croatian coach, Damir Krznar, who took over the task to succeed the citizen coach Hassan Al-Abdouli, in a test that is not devoid of difficulties and challenges for both teams.
Khor Fakkan enters the match seeking to stop a series of poor results and performances in the past rounds, and improve its position in the ranking table, as it occupies 11th place with 12 points, while Al Wasl has 25 points in fourth place.
Despite the technical differences between the two teams in terms of capabilities, number of points, and the match being held at Zabeel Stadium in Dubai, the Eagles’ chances remain if they succeed in dealing with the technical and public aspects of the confrontation.
Emirates Today monitored the most important requirements that Khor Fakkan needs to achieve a positive result against Al Wasl.
Investing opportunities
The past five matches for Khor Fakkan witnessed the loss of a large number of easy attacking opportunities, estimated at about 20 opportunities, including direct one-on-ones with the goal. Against Al-Wasl, the team needs to invest half-chances and improve offensive effectiveness.
Challenge the audience
Al-Wasl enjoys a large and influential fan base, at a time when Khor Fakkan’s public attendance has declined, which gives the advantage of “Player No. 12” to Al-Wasl, and it is one of the most prominent challenges that Khor Fakkan will face in the match.
Technical reading
Croatian coach Damir Krznar leads the team in its first match from the technical area, which makes good technical reading and management of the course of the match an additional challenge, in light of his recent knowledge of the capabilities of his players, and the strengths and weaknesses of the two teams.
Adjust the defense
Khorfakkan conceded a number of goals in past matches, most of which were the result of defensive lack of discipline and individual lapses. The matter requires better defensive organization, not giving Al-Wasl spaces, in addition to avoiding committing mistakes near the penalty area, in light of Al-Wasl’s excellence in executing set pieces.
Tariq Tisodale
Khorfakkan hopes that its Moroccan player, Tariq Tisoudali, will regain his usual technical level, which he showed before his participation in the Arab Cup, which was held in Qatar, because of his ability to create and score goals in an effective, skillful manner.
