المملكة: The Governor of Jeddah witnesses the closing ceremony of the first research conference for students at Mecca universities


Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi testified Governor of Jeddah, in the presence of Minister of Education Chairman of the Council of University Affairs, Youssef Al-Benyan, and a number of academic and research leaders, the closing ceremony of the first research conference for university students in the Makkah region, hosted by the University of Jeddah.

The conference aims to support the student scientific research system, and enhance the culture of innovation and creativity among university students, by providing a scientific platform to present their projects and research, develop their research skills, and link the outcomes of higher education to national development needs, in line with the goals of the vision Kingdom 2030.

Innovative Projects

His Highness and the audience witnessed a visual presentation that included a number of distinguished scientific research and innovative projects. His Highness also witnessed the signing of a number of cooperation agreements between the University of Jeddah and a number of entities in the fields of scientific research, entrepreneurship and innovation, which contributes to expanding partnerships and enhancing the exchange of experiences and knowledge between universities and relevant entities.

In conclusion, His Highness the Governor of Jeddah honored the winning teams. And distinguished in the various tracks of the conference, which numbered 140 teams, represented by 309 male and female students from 10 universities in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and the participating universities and colleges, in appreciation of their research efforts and scientific contributions, and as an incentive to continue excellence in the fields of research and innovation.
