100% confident that Al-Bataeh will remain in the “professionals”

The coach of the Iraqi Kalba team, Ghazi Al-Shammari, confirmed that his team was aspiring to achieve victory over Al-Bataeh in the match that brought them together, on Saturday, at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium in Sharjah, in the 21st round of the ADNOC Professional League, but he considered that the result of the 2-2 draw was considered fair for both teams.
Al-Shammari said, during the press conference after the match, that Al-Bataeh performed well, noting that the individual mistakes that occurred during the match were the result of psychological pressure on the players.
He added: “Despite the difficulty of the match for both teams, my team was able to come out with a draw and score a point that raised our score to 22 points.”
The Kalba coach thanked his players for the effort they made, stressing that facing a team competing for relegation, such as Al-Bataeh, is difficult, pointing out that the mistakes that caused the opponent’s two goals were the result of pressure, despite the good technical performance provided by the team.
For his part, Iranian coach Al-Bataeh, Farhad Majidi, affirmed his complete confidence in his team’s survival in the ADNOC Professional League, stressing that the team has a good group of players, but it lacks some luck.
Majidi said during the press conference: “I am 100% confident that the team will survive, and I previously confirmed that we will end the season in a better position, given my great confidence in the players.”
He explained that the team had suffered since the beginning of the season from a problem in the offensive line, which worsened after the departure of Cameroonian player Anatoly Bertrand, noting that the club had signed French striker Sekolega from Kalba, but he was unable to participate in the match due to a clause in the loan contract that prevented him from playing against his former team.
Al-Bataeh coach stressed the importance of focusing during the upcoming matches, in order to improve results and ensure survival in the professional league.
