The Head of State receives a written message from the Korean President

Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a written message from the President of the Republic of Korea, Lee Jae-myung, related to cooperation relations and opportunities to enhance them within the framework of the “special strategic partnership” that brings together the two countries.

The message was delivered to His Highness by the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Korea for Strategic Economic Cooperation, Kang Hoon-sik, during his reception at Al Bateen Palace in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, the Korean envoy conveyed to His Highness the greetings of Lee Jae-myung, President of the Republic of Korea, and his wishes for the UAE for continued progress and prosperity, while His Highness conveyed to the special envoy his greetings to the Korean president and his wishes for his country and its people further development, and for the relations of the two countries to continue prosperity.

The meeting touched on the paths of development of Emirati-Korean cooperation within the framework of the “Special Strategic Partnership” that brings together the two countries, and ways to advance it to broader horizons, especially in priority areas of development, including advanced technology, artificial intelligence, economy, energy, and defense technology, in addition to educational, cultural, and other fields.

The two sides also reviewed the outcomes of Lee Jae-myung’s “state visit” to the UAE last November, and the consolidation of strategic relations between the two countries and the expansion of future areas of cooperation, in order to continue joint growth and mutual prosperity in vital areas.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, and a number of senior state officials.
