Achraf Hakimi dreams of returning to Real Madrid

Moroccan international star Achraf Hakimi, the right-back of French football team Paris Saint-Germain, appears open to returning to his former club, Real Madrid, according to a press report on Tuesday.

According to journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon, from Radio Marca, Hakimi is ready to push for this step.

De Mon wrote on his official account on the social networking site (X): “Achraf Hakimi wants to return to Real Madrid and is ready to take the necessary measures to complete the deal.”

The journalist also pointed out that although Hakimi’s current contract with the French capital team, which extends until 2029, represents an obstacle to achieving his dream, the improvement of relations between Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain may play a pivotal role in facilitating negotiations.

Reports indicate that relations between the two clubs improved after Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, and Qatari Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, reconciled following the collapse of the European Super League project.

Hakimi, who graduated from the Real Madrid academy, left the Royal Club to join Italian Inter Milan after a successful loan period at German club Borussia Dortmund.

The possibility of Hakimi’s return may be affected by the presence of French international striker Kylian Mbappé at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, given the close relationship between the players.

Despite rumors of his desire to return to Real Madrid, Hakimi is currently focusing on finishing the season strong with Paris Saint-Germain, as the team looks to retain the Champions League and French League titles.
