"Ajman X Center" The Intellectual Property Forum 2026 is organized in cooperation with "Ministry of Economy"

The forum aims to emphasize the importance of intellectual property in promoting innovation and protecting rights, and to enhance the unique contributions of innovators who use their creativity to bring about positive change in society, in line with the directions of Ajman Vision 2030 to build national cadres capable of achieving the aspirations of the emirate, and in line with the strategic goal of developing incubators and programs to support research and innovation.

The forum was attended by His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department, His Excellency Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Intellectual Property Association, Dr. Engineer Khalid Moin Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector in the Municipality Department, Dr. Engineer Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Infrastructure Development Sector in the Department, and Sheikha Dr. Noura Humaid Al Nuaimi, Innovation Advisor and Director of the Ajman

The forum hosted an elite group of speakers with extensive experience and leadership in the vital field, namely Marwa Hussein Al Harmoudi, Head of the Industrial Property Registration and Inspection Department at the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, Iman Al Salman, Head of the Intellectual Property Department at Sharjah Customs, Roya Hamad Al Junaibi, Acting Head of the Business Awareness Department, Counselor Muhammad Bakr, a member of the Emirates Intellectual Property Association, and Dr. Hamada Abdel Ati, a member of the Emirates Intellectual Property Association and a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, and moderated the dialogue session. Sheikha Dr. Noura Humaid Al Nuaimi stressed that strengthening the intellectual property system is an essential pillar in supporting innovation and protecting creativity, noting the department’s keenness to embrace creators and innovators and provide a stimulating environment to develop their ideas and turn them into realistic projects and initiatives. She explained that the department implements many pioneering projects and initiatives that enhance the culture of innovation, through cooperation and integration with various stakeholders, which contributes to consolidating the emirate’s position as a supportive environment for creativity and knowledge.

She said that holding the forum comes in light of the Year of the Family, which enhances the role of the family as the incubating nucleus of creativity, stressing the importance of integrating roles between various parties to support innovation, empower creative people, and build a sustainable knowledge environment that embraces and develops ideas.

In the same context, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Quddus Al-Obaidly explained that this year’s slogan combines intellectual property and sports, reflecting the connection between the concept of creativity and various vital sectors, and confirms that the protection of thought is not limited to one field, but rather extends to include sports, culture, economics and other fields, indicating that this trend coincides with the Year of the Family, thus enhancing the integration of national messages aimed at building an innovative, knowledge-based society that supports creativity in various areas of life.

The dialogue session included several main topics, the most prominent of which was clarifying the role of the family as a starting point for innovation and a stimulating and supportive environment for the development of creative ideas, in addition to highlighting how the family contributes to protecting and nurturing creativity from the early stages.

The session stressed the importance of enhancing family awareness of its role in supporting innovation, and integrating efforts between the family and the institutions concerned to build a sustainable environment that embraces creative people and enables them to develop their ideas and turn them into influential projects.
