Ajman Cooperative launches national initiatives to support Emirati products, farms and local factories

Ajman, May 12 / WAM / Ajman Cooperative announced the launch of a package of new national initiatives, aimed at supporting national products, farms and factories, as part of its direction to strengthen the partnership with the local producer, and enable it to reach the consumer in a broader and more effective way, in a step that embodies its commitment to supporting the national economy and enhancing the presence of the Emirati product in the local markets.
These initiatives come in line with the country’s efforts to enhance food security and support the local economy, by providing a supportive environment for national suppliers, farms and factories, and encouraging consumers to turn to high-quality and competitive Emirati products.
The package includes the launch of the “Made in the Emirates” initiative, which will officially launch on May 13, 2026, and will continue for a full month, where a distinctive identification badge will be allocated on showroom shelves alongside products manufactured within the UAE, with the aim of facilitating shoppers’ recognition of them and enhancing their presence in various departments.
The initiative includes more than 3,000 diverse Emirati products, reflecting the national industry’s development, high quality, and competitiveness in the local markets, in addition to giving shoppers double points within the “My Association” loyalty program when purchasing participating products, in a step aimed at motivating consumers to support the national product, and enhancing the cooperative sector’s contribution to supporting the local economy.
The cooperative also announced the launch of the National Farm Support Initiative, which includes exempting farms from registration fees and facilitating the procedures for joining the cooperative, in support of the local agricultural product and enhancing the availability of fresh national products in the markets.
The package also includes an initiative to support national factories, by exempting UAE factories from registration fees, which contributes to encouraging them to expand and increase the presence of their products within the cooperative’s sales outlets.
Ajman Cooperative confirmed that these initiatives are part of its ongoing efforts; To strengthen the partnership with national factories, companies and farms, and consolidate the position of the Emirati product in the daily consumer basket, in line with the vision of the UAE, towards building a more sustainable and competitive economy.
