Dubai brings together martial arts and entertainment stars in the “Arab Pride” tournament

The Professional Fighters Association in the Middle East and North Africa confirmed that Dubai has become one of the most prominent global destinations for hosting major sporting events.
The association announced in a statement today that it will organize, as part of the activities accompanying the press conference and the official weigh-in ceremony for the “Pride of the Arabs” tournament, on May 23 at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, an artistic ceremony performed by the Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan and the Saudi artist Badr Al-Shuaibi, in cooperation with the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, while the “PFL MENA 9” competitions will be organized the next day in the same place under the slogan “Pride of the Arabs”, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council and the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai. With the participation of an elite group of fighters from various Arab countries.
The event includes 11 fights within one of the most prominent mixed martial arts tournaments in the region, with the main fight bringing together Emirati Mohammed Yahya and Tunisian Mehdi Saadi in the featherweight competition.
Jerome Mazet, Director General of the Professional Fighters League in the Middle East and North Africa, said that the League’s goal since the launch of “PFL MENA: Pride of the Arabs” is to provide an integrated experience that combines sports, entertainment and music, in a way that reflects the spirit of the region and its cultural diversity.
