(The first) from the month of Dhu al-Qi’dah until the end of the (14) day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, and to demand from the competent court to confiscate the means of land transportation that is proven to have been used for that, and which was owned by the carrier, the shareholder, or his accomplice.
Severe penalties
And violators were issued with penalties of up to imprisonment and a fine of up to (100,000) riyals for every violator of Hajj regulations and instructions who is transported, defamation, and deportation of the carriers. of expatriates and preventing them from entering the Kingdom for a period of up to (10) years.
The Ministry of Interior continued its media awareness efforts regarding Hajj regulations and instructions and the campaign (No Hajj without a permit), in cooperation with partners in government agencies, on all platforms, websites, and official and unofficial channels and in a number of languages up to (14) languages.
It also used text messages for mobile phones, on road signs and internal and external screens, and to reinforce the message of Hajj and security. Through its official accounts, the emirates of the regions and the security sectors on social media sites, which are followed by more than (30) million people.
The campaign (No Hajj without a permit) – which is still ongoing – confirmed its effectiveness and impact on the awareness and mind of the local, Arab and Islamic community, and found a positive echo in the importance of adhering to Hajj regulations and instructions.
