المملكة: "Mobile caravans" Enhancing the quality of highway services during the Hajj season
Launched General Authority of Roads Mobile Caravans Initiative, to enhance the quality of services provided on Highways within Hajj season, in support of the guests of God, and to meet the needs of travelers on the roads.
She explained "Roads Authority" The initiative aims to provide support and field support for broken down vehicles and buses on the migration route linking Mecca and Medina, in addition to helping in dealing with emergency breakdowns, and providing comprehensive logistical services, which include providing snacks and drinks, designated places for ablution, and air-conditioned rest rooms for the guests of God. In order to ensure their safety and comfort, and to enhance traffic safety on this vital axis.
Smooth movement of the guests of God
The authority confirmed that the road sector is one of the vital sectors that enable the Hajj and Umrah sector, as it supervises its organization by developing the necessary policies and legislation, and works to achieve the goals of the road sector program, which are based on safety, quality and traffic density.
It indicated that the Kingdom ranks first globally in the index The interconnectedness of the road network, which supports the smooth and safe movement of the pilgrims, indicating its continued efforts to improve the flow of traffic during the Hajj season, to ensure a safe and comfortable experience, and to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics center.
