"sunrise" Launches a program of Eid Al Adha activities in the most prominent destinations and landmarks of Sharjah

Sharjah, May 21 / WAM / Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) destinations will welcome Eid Al Adha with a diverse family program extending over four days, from May 27 to 30, at Al Qasba, Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Heera Beach, and Khor Fakkan Beach.
The program combines theatrical performances, beach activities, children’s workshops, cultural experiences and community events, giving families, residents and visitors multiple options to celebrate Eid in a comfortable and fun family atmosphere that reflects Sharjah’s status as an integrated family destination during seasons and occasions.
This year’s celebrations link a number of destinations managed by Shurooq, with each destination offering a different experience suitable for children and families, starting with live shows at Al Qasba, to beach activities in Al Heera and Khor Fakkan, and family events at Al Majaz Waterfront.
Eid celebrations continue at Al Heera and Khor Fakkan Beaches through the “Pirate Land” experience, which is held in the children’s play area within the second complex in Al Heera Beach and the “Sadaf” children’s area in Khor Fakkan Beach.
The activities include roaming personalities and artists interacting with families throughout the Eid, in addition to various food and beverage options, which enhances the presence of the two beaches as family destinations for entertainment and relaxation during the holidays.
During Eid Al Adha, Al Qasba will witness the launch of the “Al Qasba Theater” 2026 season, which opens with the show “Magic Elephant: Fun at Sea” and provides a family theatrical experience that combines comedy, magic tricks, storytelling, and direct interaction with the audience in a marine adventure aimed at children and families.
At Al Majaz Waterfront, the destination welcomes families during the Eid days with an entertainment program in the vicinity of the children’s play area and the “Splash Park,” which includes live shows, activities for children, and open-air experiences, in addition to boat rides and musical fountain shows.
The “Shurooq” program during Eid Al Adha includes a group of cultural and community initiatives, including the “Proud of the Emirates” initiative, which offers activities that celebrate national identity and the spirit of participation, and includes heritage performances, face painting, artistic activities, wall drawing, and an interactive 360-degree photography platform, in addition to the “Emirates National Pride Photo Exhibition.”
On Al Heera Beach, the “Books on Al Heera Beach” event offers a cultural experience near the sea through a mini book fair organized in cooperation with “Book Ends.”
Eid Al Adha options are not limited to destinations that host major events, as the Eid experience at Shurooq destinations extends to Al Noor Island, Montazah Gardens and Mleiha National Park, where families can spend a holiday that combines nature, entertainment and cultural exploration.
The options include the hospitality destinations developed by Shurooq, from city hotels to resorts located in natural environments, to give visitors the opportunity to turn their Eid holiday into a comprehensive stay within Sharjah.
Through this year’s Eid Al Adha programme, Shurooq emphasizes the role of its destinations in providing multiple options for families, residents and visitors, and enhancing Sharjah’s position as a destination capable of combining entertainment, culture, nature and hospitality within one experience during seasons and holidays.
