Schedule and timing of Arab teams’ matches in the 2026 World Cup

Arab teams record a historic presence in the 2026 World Cup finals, which are hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico during the period from June 11 to July 19, with the participation of eight Arab teams for the first time in the history of the tournament, benefiting from raising the number of participating teams to 48 teams.
The Arab list includes Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Jordan, in an unprecedented participation that reflects the continuous development of Arab football, and gives fans the opportunity to follow a large number of strong confrontations since the first round.
The Qatari team will cut the ribbon for the Arab participation against Switzerland on June 13 at 11:00 pm UAE time, before the Moroccan team will play a difficult test against Brazil at dawn on June 14 at 2:00 am.
The Egyptian team will also meet Belgium on June 15 at 11:00 pm, while the Tunisian team will begin its campaign against Sweden on June 15 at 6:00 am, and Saudi Arabia will begin its participation against Uruguay on June 16 at 2:00 am.
The Algerian national team will play its first match against Argentina on June 17 at 5:00 am, while Iraq will face Norway on June 17 at 2:00 am, and Jordan will play its opening match against Austria on the same day at 8:00 am.
The Arab teams are looking forward to achieving distinguished results and surpassing the first round, especially after the achievements achieved in the last editions, most notably Morocco’s reaching the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup as the first Arab and African team to achieve this historic achievement.
Some groups appear balanced and offer real opportunities to compete, while other teams will face major challenges in facing global powers, such as Morocco, which opens its campaign against Brazil, Egypt, which faces Belgium, and Algeria, which faces Argentina in the first round.
With the expansion of the participation base and the rise in ambitions, the Arab sports street is anticipating an exceptional edition of the World Cup, hoping that the record participation will turn into unprecedented achievements on the field, and that Arab football will continue to strengthen its presence among the major international teams.
