A surprising statement from Senegalese star Babi Ji after exiting the World Cup

Senegalese midfielder Papi G announced his boycott of his country’s national team by not joining his country’s national team squad as long as the current technical staff remains in office, after his team’s exit from the FIFA World Cup yesterday, Wednesday.
Senegal lost a two-goal lead against Belgium, before losing 3-2 in overtime in the Round of 32 match. Ji, 27 years old, wrote on social media, “I will come back to talk to you a little about the exclusion. But today I announce that as long as the current coaching staff remains in office, I will step away from the national team.”
It seemed that Senegal was on its way to advancing to the round of 16, after Habib Diarra and Ismaila Sarr put it in front.
Ji, who scored two goals in the tournament, was replaced about an hour into the match, after coach Pape Thiaw decided to replace him with Lamin Kamara, in an attempt by Senegal to maintain its lead.
But Belgium scored two goals in the last four minutes, through Romelu Lukaku and Youri Tielemans, to tie the game and push the match into extra time.
Belgium completed its comeback when Tielemans scored a penalty kick committed by substitute Kamara, and it was awarded after reviewing the video assistant referee technology.
