FIFA investigates a racist incident between a fan and an influencer

Yesterday, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced that it is conducting an investigation into an incident that occurred between the live broadcast presenter, YouTuber “Speed”, and a fan in the stands, during the World Cup match between Argentina and Cape Verde last Friday. “Speed”, famous for the “iShow Speed” account, was live broadcasting the match, and he was heard asking one of the fans, who was wearing an Argentine national team shirt, about what was said to him, and it appears that the fan who was speaking in Spanish was saying to him: “Go And cry in the zoo” to the YouTuber, who is dark-skinned. The International Federation said in a statement: “FIFA strongly condemns racism, hatred and discrimination in all its forms. These actions have no place in football, nor in the World Cup, nor anywhere in society.”
