20 players are threatened with suspension in the World Cup semi-finals

20 players from the teams qualifying for the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup face the risk of being suspended in the semi-finals if they receive a yellow card in the matches that begin with the match between Morocco and France, according to the French newspaper L’Equipe.
The list of those threatened with suspension includes:

England: Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, Mark Guehi, Nico O’Reilly, and Jordan Henderson.

Switzerland: Granit Xhaka, Denis Zakaria, and Miro Moheim.
