Ajman leaves tomorrow for Serbia to complete its preparations for the new season

Tomorrow, the Ajman team will head to Serbia to set up its external camp as part of its preparations for the new season 2026-2027, in a stage that the technical staff relies on to raise its physical and technical readiness before the start of local and Gulf competitions.

The camp extends until the beginning of next August, and includes five friendly matches against clubs of different levels, as part of the preparation program that the team began on the seventh of this month by conducting medical and physical examinations and measurements for the players, before moving on to exercises that focused on physical preparation inside the gym due to the high temperatures. The training witnessed the participation of all players, including the new deals concluded by the club during the summer transfer period.

The Ajman administration is continuing its efforts to complete the team’s roster, as it is working to sign a new foreign player, in addition to including national players in the defense and midfield positions, with the aim of completing the transfer file before the start of the new season.

For his part, Ajman coach, Yousef Al-Sheikh, told Emirates Al-Youm that the Serbia camp represents the most important stage in the preparation program, as the technical staff will focus on raising physical rates and developing tactical aspects to bring the team to the highest levels of readiness before the start of the season.

He added: “The team is awaiting a busier season with its first participation in the Gulf Championship, which requires preparing all players to deal with the pressure of matches.”

The Sheikh pointed out that: “The club’s management has set goals of finishing the season in the top six places in the professional league, in addition to competing for the President’s Cup and the Professional League Cup titles.”

Regarding Gulf participation, the coach said that the club is waiting for the draw to be held before determining its technical goals more accurately, but he pointed out that the ambition is to reach the furthest stage possible.
