“Literature and Publishing” reviews the “Silence of Writing” initiative at the Cairo Book Fair

The “Literature, Publishing and Translation” Authority organized in its wing at the Cairo International Book Fair, its sixth cultural seminars of the Saudi pavilion under the title “The Silence of Writing”.

The retirement initiative of writing

The symposium focused on the definition of the “Sirte Writing Initiative launched by the” Literature, Publishing and Translation “.
It aims to provide more opportunities to exchange experiences and experiences between local and international writers and achieve international cultural communication through the mixing of different cultures, in a literary climate stimulated to writing and creativity.
Dr. Al -Mulhim stated that the “retired writing” initiative is an opportunity between writers, writers and poets from all over the Arab world, and it is a positive isolation in which they branch for more creativity and distinguished intellectual production, which differs from the concept of “unity”.

A unique and distinctive experience

Al -Mulhim explained that the initiative allows the thinker, poet or writer to move away from his functional and professional fields, and also avoids the chaos and noise of society to empty its creativity energy.
He said that retirement is a return to the self, and when a person returns to the self, he creates and produces cognitively.
Al -Mulhim said that the retirement initiative is a unique and distinctive experience, and the culture of which we need to expand it across the Arab world, describing his participation in the retirement of writing in wealth.

Saudi cultural experience

The “Literature, Publishing and Translation” body is organizing “the retirement of writing” since 2019, in which it hosts a group of writers around the world, for a journey for literary achievement, opening windows to new worlds of thought and creativity, and enabling the Saudi cultural experience and photographing them in the authors’ outcome in different arts.
The Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority is leading the participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Cairo International Book Fair, with the participation of 10 governmental and national bodies that include the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, King Salman Complex for the Arabic Language, Saudi Cultural Attaché in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The King Abdulaziz Public Library, King Fahd National Library, Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman University, Prince Sattam University, Tabuk University, Hafar Al -Batin University, and the Publishing Association.
