“The Wise Muslims”: International Women’s Day is an opportunity to confirm its role in building nations

The Council of Muslim Elders headed by His Eminence the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, affirmed that celebrating the International Women’s Day represents an important opportunity to introduce women’s efforts and their primary role in building nations and homelands, noting that women are the sisters of men, and that they are a key partner in the process of building and development, calling for the need to work to enable women and girls to obtain their rights and support and develop their capabilities, so that Islam is that Islam is remarkable. The first person to grant women their full rights and liberated them from the shackles and restrictions that were imposed on them. ﷺ: & laquo; (Narrated by Muslim), and Islam warned that the choice of people is their choice for their women; And he said ﷺ: & laquo; (Narrated by Ahmad), and his saying ﷺ: & laquo; (Narrated by Al -Tirmidhi). And confronting all forms of violence and discrimination against it, spreading and enhancing awareness of its rights, and providing an environment that motivates it to produce and participate in all fields, noting that the document of the human brotherhood signed by the Honorable Imam Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar Al -Sharif, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Elders, and His Holiness Pope Francis, the Catholic Church Pope in Abu Dhabi in 2019, confirmed the right of women to education. Work, and the necessity of working to liberate it from historical and social pressures that contradict the principles and dignity of its faith.
