The Iraq team records the largest decline in the “FIFA” classification

Iraq lost 29.46 points in the FIFA classification (FIFA), to record the largest decline among all teams, after drawing with Kuwait (2-2) at Basra Stadium, and losing to Palestine (2-1) in Amman, within the World Cup 2026 qualifiers.

This major decline came within the last update of the FIFA classification issued today, which included the results of 245 international matches that took place across various continents.

The Asian, African, Oceania and South American teams continue to run in the World Cup qualifiers, while the teams of Europe and North America compete in continental nations championships.
