The Jordanian national team is leading to 62nd globally in the “FIFA” classification

The Jordanian national football team has made remarkable progress in the world rankings issued by the International Football Association (FIFA) today, Thursday, April 3, with its rise in two places to rank 62 globally, after he was 64th in the previous classification. ​

This progress came as a result of the distinguished performance presented by Al-Nishami in the recent period in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The team managed to beat Palestine 3-1 in Amman, and tied with the South Korea team 1-1 in Seoul. ​

With these results, the Jordanian team raised its score to 1389.15 points, to be in the ninth Asian place. The team is currently in second place in Group Two with 13 points, behind the leading team, the leading team with 16 points, and the Iraq team comes third with 12 points. It is noteworthy that the first two teams in each group qualify directly to the World Cup, while the third and fourth places are playing the attachment matches. ​

The Jordanian national team remains two decisive matches in the month of June against the teams of the Sultanate of Oman and Iraq, which will significantly determine the opportunities for direct qualification for the World Cup or move to the attachment stage.

At the global level, the Argentine national team maintained the top of the classification, followed by the Spanish team in second place. ​
