Jeddah .. Details of the meeting of the Culture Committee in the Saudi Partnership Council

His Highness Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, and Minister of Culture in the Republic of Hellenistic Lina Mandouni, in Jeddah Governorate today, headed the first meeting of the Culture Committee emanating from the Saudi Strategic Partnership Council.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness the Minister of Culture welcomed his Hellenic counterpart in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing her and the accompanying delegation to be residency, and that her visit will be a window through which she gets to know the heritage in the Kingdom, and the depth of its culture rooted in history and human civilization, stressing that this meeting aims to consolidate the international cultural exchange between the two friendly countries, with what is beneficial to them and their people.

Enhancing cultural cooperation

During the meeting, the head of the Culture Committee stressed the importance of strengthening cultural cooperation between the Kingdom and the Hellenic Republic, and activating the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of culture that took place in July 2022.
They praised the continuous cooperation between the two friendly countries, which was embodied in the participation of the Hellenic side in the second edition of the Saudi International Crafts Week (Benan), which was held in Riyadh during the month of November 2024 AD, in addition to the participation of the Greek Al -Binaki Museum in the Biennial of Islamic Arts 2025 AD in Jeddah Governorate during the period from January to May for the current year.

Saudi Cultural Week
