The Minister of Health presides over the compensation fund for the risk of medical professions

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, chaired the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Compensation Fund for the Risks of Medical Professions, today & nbsp; Monday, in the presence of Dr. Maya Morsi & Nbsp, Minister of Social Solidarity via Confirm Technology, Major General Hussein Dahrouj, Executive Director of the Fund, and a number of leaders of the Ministry of Health, and representatives of the relevant authorities, at the Ministry’s headquarters in the new administrative capital. The meeting dealt with a number of topics, most notably the position of the revenue of the Medical Professions Fund until April 30 of 2025, where revenues multiplied compared to last year, as a result of improving collection mechanisms and promoting resources, and the minister praised during the meeting the accuracy of the financial system and the efforts of the board of directors, stressing that this achievement reflects the fund’s commitment to support workers in the health sector and develop services. The amounts transferred from the Fund and Investment in Commercial Banks, details of revenues and proceeds, and the return of the fund’s account with the central bank, and the meeting also witnessed the discussion of the latest developments related to the adoption of the regulations regulating human, financial, and administrative resources for the fund, and also dealt with the advantages that were provided to medical professions during the fiscal year 2024/2025, and the adoption of proposed advantages for members during the fiscal year 2025/2026. The meeting dealt with a discussion of an integrated plan to improve the conditions of doctors ‘housing, within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to provide an appropriate living and professional environment for health service providers, where Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar indicated that there is a comprehensive program that is implemented in all governorates to raise the efficiency of doctors’ housing, including infrastructure development, equipping housing units with necessary furniture and supplies, and improving the level of services provided, in a way that ensures the provision of an appropriate environment that helps doctors Performing their duties efficiently and stability. Until the meeting & nbsp; Discuss the achievements of the cooperation plan with the Compensation Fund for the Risk of Medical Professions, the most prominent of which is the expert recruitment program & nbsp; Where & nbsp; 17 expert & nbsp; With 8 hospitals affiliated with the Ministry during the period from December 2024 to May 2025, this project aims to improve the level of medical service by taking advantage of the experiences of international experts, training the medical team on the latest technologies and treatment protocols, and performing complex surgeries for the most needy patients, and enhancing cooperation with leading medical institutions in the world. Through workshops, theoretical and practical lectures, more than 60 advanced surgeries in different specializations, such as: & nbsp; Oncology surgery (breast, digestive system), heart surgery (catheter, beating heart), urology and kidney surgeries, international partnerships with Norfolk University Hospital (UK), Sheffield Institute for kidney disease (UK), and the International Medical Center in Jeddah. The meeting also reviewed the professional trainer program in the health sector, to enhance the efficiency of trainers working with the Ministry of Health and Population, where the program was implemented by the professional coach & quot; In cooperation with the National Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, pointing out that the program aims to develop the skills of trainers responsible for implementing training programs within the Ministry’s annual plan, in line with the Ministry’s vision to raise the efficiency of medical teams. For 45 trainees working in the Central Administration of Strategic Administration, the executive plan for 2025-2026 was reviewed in cooperation with the Compensation Fund for the Risk of Medical Profession.
