Bodybuilding Union: Asian Ajman "rehearsal" Ideal for hosting the World Cup
Dubai, June 20/WAM/Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Federation for Building and Fitness, confirmed that the distinguished organizational success of the Asian Championship hosted by the Emirate of Ajman, in addition to the remarkable results achieved by the Emirates team, is an ideal rehearsal prior to Ajman’s hosting of the 2026 World Championship.
The UAE National Bodybuilding Team has achieved a historic achievement by winning the first place in the overall ranking of the men and Master categories, during the continental championship that was recently concluded in Ajman, a achievement for the first time in the history of the sport of Emirati bodies.
The team players managed to win 28 colored medals, at 8 gold medals, 10 silver, and 10 bronze, in addition to other advanced centers achieved by a number of players in various categories.
Sheikh Abdullah Al -Sharqi indicated that the next stage will focus on preserving and strengthening these gains, in an obligation to the principle of sports sustainability, appreciating the efforts of the members of the Board of Directors, the Federation’s committees, the technical and administrative bodies, and the players, for their work that contributed to achieving this achievement.
