Mauritius .. A British child was caught in possession of a drug of 1.6 million pounds

Customs authorities at Sir Seoosaguer Ramagolam International Airport in Mauritius have arrested a six -year -old British child, after finding more than 1.6 million pounds from hashish hidden in his bag.
The child, who arrived on the tropical island on Sunday, accompanied by a group of six British adults, was carrying 14 kilograms of hemp in his small bag, while another 17 kilograms were found in the luggage of one of the accompanying, bringing the total seizures to 161 kilograms, and was distributed on a number of bags.
The incident, which the Mauritius authorities described as a “inhumane violation” of the child’s exploitation as a smuggling method, revealed indications of organized criminal gang involvement, especially after the seizure of 11 Apple Aartags tracked devices and was placed to track the movement of smuggled charges.
The six detainees, all of them from the British Cambridgers, included workers in separate sectors, including detergents, contractors, and employee in a bar, along with a Roman citizen residing in Britain. They were presented to the court in the town of Mahiburg on Monday, where they are still in detention.
According to the newspaper “Telegraph”, the child was returned to Britain after his father arrived at Mauritius to receive him, while the families of the accused expressed their shock from the incident. The mother of one of the detainees said that her son was deceived after a “free vacation” was presented to him without his knowledge that it is an interface of an international smuggling operation.
This incident comes as part of a series of recent arrests of Britons involved in drug trafficking abroad, including a precedent flight attendant in Sri Lanka in May.
The British Foreign Ministry confirmed that it is following the case and providing consular support to the detainees in coordination with the authorities in Mauritius.
