Belgian Ferrera is a new coach for the Egyptian Zamalek

The Egyptian Zamalek contracted the Belgian coach, Yannick Ferrera, to take over the tasks of the technical supervision of the first team in the new season, according to what the third Egyptian Football League announced last season.

“King Yannick Ferrera here,” Zamalek said on his official page on social media.

Ferrera will replace the coach Ayman Al -Ramadi, who led Zamalek at the end of last season, and he succeeded in crowning the team with the Egyptian Cup title by beating Pyramids in the final match on penalties, while finishing the Egyptian league in third place.

Al -Ramadi was the fourth coach to take over the position of coach of Zamalek in the last season after the Portuguese Jose Gumish, the Swiss Christian Gross and the Portuguese Jose Pisero.

Zamalek has appointed John Edward, former contract manager of Farko, as his sports director, and Edward took over the mission of negotiating with Ferrera, according to a source at the Zamalek Club, to Agence France Presse.

The source said, “The contract extends for two seasons, provided that the situation is evaluated after the first season with the approval of the two parties, and the Belgian coach will attend with a assistant device that includes an assistant coach, a goalkeeper coach, a load scheme and a performance analyst, provided that Hazem will continue in front of the device as an assistant coach,” the source said.

Ferrera is 44 years old, and his training career began at the age of twenty -four coaches of the Belgian club Anderlecht, before working as an assistant coach for his compatriot Michelle Bridom in my team Khatta in Belgium and Saudi youth.

In 2012, Ferrera trained Charleroa team at the age of 31 to become the youngest coach in the history of the Belgian League. The Ferrera march included the training of Charlero, St. Troed, Standar Lig, Michelin and Beverin in Belgium from 2012 to 2018.
