Al Ain on August 28 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the representative of the ruler in the Al Ain region, confirmed that the United Arab Emirates has become a global model that follows in the field of empowering women and supporting them at different levels and in various sectors and vital fields.
His Highness explained, in a speech on the occasion of the Emirati Women’s Day, that these achievements are the fruit of the continuous efforts made by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Association, which today crowns the launch of the “UAE 50:50” initiative aimed at empowering women and enhancing their vital role in society on the various local and regional levels And the world during the next fifty years, in addition to the great support and constant interest from the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, who gives women’s issues a strategic priority within the UAE’s vision and its continuous endeavor towards achieving comprehensive and sustainable development goals in various sectors of national priority.
His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan said on this occasion: “On the twenty -eighth of August of each year, we celebrate“ Emirati Women’s Day ”, this dear national occasion that embodies the UAE’s appreciation for the efforts of women and its unlimited giving.
