Dr. Mahmoud Muslim, Chairman of the Culture, Media, Tourism and Antiquities Committee in the Senate, and Secretary of Information for the National Front Party, said that the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement to stop the war in Gaza paves the way for a state of Peace and stability in the Middle East region, stressing that the American President is interested in the success and continuation of the agreement and is its guarantor, and that it is necessary to differentiate between the circumstances and atmosphere during which the Madrid Peace Agreement was signed in 1991, and the current Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement, as the circumstance in which the Madrid Agreement was signed was after Iraq’s invasion of Kuwait, which led to an alliance led by the United States with the Arab countries to respond to Iraq, and thus there was an attempt American to satisfy the Arabs by holding the conference at that time, this is completely different from the details and circumstances of the current scene.

There are some similarities in some matters between Madrid and Sharm El-Sheikh, but there are many differences as well. One, in addition to US President Donald Trump’s support for the occupation, until the Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement came to pave the way for peace in the Middle East region, and the beginning of stopping the war, bringing in aid, and handing over prisoners and detainees, as a strong step to establishing a comprehensive peace, and what comes from it depends on the different parties.
He continued: «In anticipation of the evasions of the occupation or the Hamas movement, taking into account the inequality between them of course, it is necessary to follow up on the details in the agreement, and the success of the agreement requires a Palestinian dialogue– Palestinian, and this is what Egypt is currently doing with the aim of ending divisions and disputes. Muslim concluded: He said: “Hamas will not have a political presence in the Gaza Strip in the next day’s plan, and this is what the Arab leaders agreed upon.”
