The Minister of Justice receives the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Cairo

Today, Counselor Adnan Fanjri, Minister of Justice, received at the Ministry’s General Office in the New Administrative Capital, Hamad Al Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, and his accompanying delegation, Counselor Hossam Sadiq – Assistant Minister for International and Cultural Cooperation, Counselor Ahmed Khairy – Assistant Minister of Justice for the Minister’s Technical Office Affairs, and Counselor Ahmed Al-Feki, Assistant Minister for the Department of Information Affairs and the House of Representatives and the Senate.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister welcomed the Ambassador and his accompanying delegation, stressing the strength of the distinguished fraternal relations that bring together the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. The meeting also touched on ways to enhance cooperation in various legal and judicial fields. His Excellency referred to the joint cooperation projects that had been accomplished between the two countries in these fields, most notably the signing of agreements for judicial cooperation and the transfer of convicts between The two countries, a memorandum of understanding to issue certificates remotely, and another regarding judicial cooperation between the Egyptian National Center for Judicial Studies and its Emirati counterpart, and ending all procedures related to requests for the extradition of criminals and convicts between the two countries.
For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador praised the depth and strength of the established historical relations between the two brotherly countries, which represent a distinguished model of Arab relations based on mutual respect and continuous cooperation in various fields, especially in the fields of law and the judiciary.
