Tariq Mahrous: The youngsters were monsters against Spain… and the focus must now be on facing Germany

Tariq Mahrous, supervisor of the youth and junior teams in the Handball Federation, commented on the historic qualification of the Egyptian national team to the final of the World Junior Championship.
Tareq Mahrous said in statements on On Sport FM radio on the 7×1 program with media personality Lamia Nabil, “I am proud of the achievement of the Egyptian national junior national team, born in 2008, and reaching the final of the World Championship.” In Morocco.
Mahrous explained: “There were more than one player in the 2008 generation who were included in the 2006 World Championship team in Egypt, and this increased the players’ experience and they have become stars of the World Championship now.”
And he continued: “ The technical staff of the Egyptian under-17 handball team, led by Captain Emad Ibrahim, has managed the tournament in an excellent manner so far, and the team has proven that it has an international generation.
Tareq Mahrous praised the role of the United Sports Company, saying: “ I thank United Sports for its exceptional support for handball and broadcasting the matches gave the players great confidence and that everyone is behind them and encouraging them.”
He continued: “The Egyptian national team players were monsters on the field and honored handball in particular and Egyptian sports in general.”
Tareq Mahrous concluded his statements: “The players must forget what happened in the Spain match and Everyone is focused on facing Germany in the final match, and if that happens, Egypt is capable of winning the tournament title."
