The Egyptian national team loses to Uzbekistan and sets a date with Cape Verde
The Egyptian national team’s confrontation with Uzbekistan in the semi-finals of the Al Ain International Championship ended with the Pharaohs losing by two unanswered goals, in the match that was held today, Friday.
Uzbekistan’s two goals came as a result of serious defensive errors that the players of the opposing team exploited intelligently, while the Egyptian national team failed to impose any significant offensive pressure throughout the second half, despite intense attempts to equalize.
With this loss, the Egyptian national team will face in The third and fourth place match between the Cape Verdean national team, in an attempt to compensate for the failure of the semi-finals and end the tournament with a positive result, in preparation for the African Cup of Nations.
