Adoption of the founding meeting of the Single Leg Football Association

Mohamed Adel Hosni, President of the Single-Leg Football Association, confirmed the adoption of procedures  The Federation was officially established in its current form to be an official sports entity aiming to support and empower players with one-legged disabilities, and develop the game  In Egypt, and raising the level of community participation and sports representation locally and internationally.

Hosni added that the main goal of establishing the federation comes within the framework of the deep belief in everyone’s right to practice sports, and building a professional system that provides athletes with fair opportunities in training, competition, and sponsorship between normal players and people of determination.

 

He continued: The political orientations of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi always seek to integrate and not differentiate between sports players in general. Whether normal or people of determination.

 

The founding meeting approved  The council was formed on November 15, and the meeting witnessed the presence of Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, Chairman of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee, and representatives of the bodies participating in the founding  Which consists of 6 clubs who are members of the current General Assembly, and they are the goal: Tanta, Peace, Tanta, Determination, Ismaili, Faith, Sohag  Al-Iman, Cairo, El-Dernagat, Delta.

The Federation is working during the coming period on:

Launching a system of local competitions and championships approved by the International Federation.

 

Establishing a system of local competitions and tournaments approved by the International Federation. National teams capable of competing regionally and globally. Providing training and qualification programs for referees, coaches, and players. Building partnerships with sports, governmental, and community institutions to support Paralympic sports in Egypt.

 

The Board of Directors stressed that the establishment of the federation represents a national and humanitarian step that seeks to consolidate the values of inclusion, inspiration, and the ability to challenge, while opening the doors of participation to everyone who wishes to support this promising sports project.
