The Egyptian Ambassador to Sierra Leone meets with members of the Egyptian community

Ambassador Rasha Soliman, Egyptian Ambassador to Sierra Leone, held an expanded meeting with the participation of members of the embassy with members of the Egyptian community and a number of sheikhs of Al-Azhar delegates to Sierra Leone to spread the values of moderation, tolerance and teaching the Arabic language. The meeting comes within the framework of the embassy’s efforts to enhance communication with Egyptians abroad and create sustainable ties with the homeland.
The meeting witnessed a remarkable presence of individuals. The community, where it was emphasized that the embassy was keen to follow up on their situation and overcome any obstacles they might face, in addition to supporting the efforts of the sheikhs of Al-Azhar in teaching the Arabic language and the principles of the moderate Islamic religion within Sierra Leonean society.
The ambassador also listened to the audience and reviewed with them the most prominent challenges they face, stressing that the doors of the embassy are always open to serve them, and the most important initiatives launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with various government agencies and bodies were presented, which aim to make it easier for citizens abroad, whether At the level of consular services or connectivity with the homeland.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants expressed their appreciation for the embassy’s efforts and its continuous support to strengthen ties between the members of the Egyptian community in Sierra Leone and the homeland, stressing the importance of continuing such periodic meetings that contribute to strengthening bridges of communication and providing a safe and supportive environment for the community.
