Emirates Health develops medical fitness examination services for residence visas

The Emirates Health Services Corporation announced the continued development of medical fitness examination services for issuing and renewing residency visas within the “My Protection” program, which covers 20 centers distributed in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and is considered one of the most prominent initiatives that aim to ensure a smooth and integrated experience for customers in accordance with the highest international standards, which reflects the Corporation’s commitment to excellence in providing health services and digital transformation.

The Executive Director of the Supportive Health Services Sector at the Emirates Health Services Corporation, Dr. Abdullah Al Naqbi, confirmed that “Weqayati” services represent a pioneering model in supporting the goals of the “We Are the Emirates” 2031 vision, thanks to its achievement of qualitative leaps in quality of life indicators. He explained that providing fast and integrated services and obtaining examination results within less than 24 hours embodies the Corporation’s commitment to putting the customer at the top of its priorities, by relying on smart solutions, enhancing the smoothness of procedures and ensuring speedy completion.

Today, “Weqayati” services have become the fast and reliable destination for issuing medical certificates, as the accredited centers conduct more than 2,500 examinations daily using modern technologies, such as analyzing X-ray images with artificial intelligence, and provide a group of distinguished services that ensure the customer’s comfort, including mobile services that include the home service to conduct a medical fitness examination to renew the visa for individuals, and the mobile bus service that arrives directly to the customer locations to issue and renew the visa for companies.

The 20 centers that provide “Weqayati” services are distributed across the UAE: 7 centers in Dubai, 6 centers in Sharjah, 2 centers in Ajman, 2 centers in Ras Al Khaimah, 2 centers in Fujairah, and 1 center in Umm Al Quwain, where all service centers are keen to provide a comfortable and fast customer journey within an environment that respects privacy and meets the needs of individuals, families and companies alike.

The organization continues to work on expanding the scope of “Weqayati” services in the future to include new locations and an additional package of health solutions that keep pace with customers’ needs, exceed their expectations, and enhance their comprehensive health experience, thus consolidating the country’s leadership in developing an integrated, patient-centered digital health system.
