African Women’s Basketball Championship| Tomorrow…the final rehearsal for the opening ceremony
The organizing committee of the African Women’s Basketball Club Championship, headed by Mohamed El-Garhi, a member of the Board of Directors, will witness tomorrow, Thursday, the final rehearsal for the opening ceremony, which is scheduled to be held on Friday evening at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Hall, in order to check on all technical and organizational arrangements before the start of the tournament, which Al-Ahly is hosting during the period from 4 to 15 December.
The current edition witnesses wide participation from the continent’s most prominent clubs, These are:
Ahly – Kenya Ports Authority – Feel de Dakar Senegal – Mozambican Ferraviaro – Sporting Luanda of Angola – First Bank of Nigeria – Cameroonian Fab – Rwandan Patriotic Army – Ivorian Association of Friends – Rwandan Reg – CNSS Democratic Republic of the Congo – Brave Hearts from Malawi.
Al-Ahly’s hosting of this tournament is a continuation of its role in supporting continental championships, and providing the highest standards of organization in a manner befitting Egyptian and African sports, and in a way that reflects the club’s ability to host major events in an honorable manner.
