The world’s eyes are on Washington… the date of the 2026 World Cup draw with the participation of the Egyptian national team
Today, Friday, attention is turning to the American capital, Washington, which is hosting the 2026 World Cup draw ceremony, amid great global anticipation to know the features of the teams’ journey in the next edition of the World Cup.
The draw ceremony will begin at exactly seven in the evening, Cairo time, and eight in the evening, Mecca time, and will be broadcast on the official channels of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA). And the sports platforms that own the broadcast rights.
The tournament witnesses an expanded participation of teams, which increases the heat of the draw that football fans around the world are waiting for.

Canada, Mexico, United States of America, Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany.
Second level:
Croatia, Morocco, Colombia, Uruguay, Switzerland, Japan, Senegal, Iran, South Korea, Ecuador, Austria, Australia.
Third level:
Norway, Panama, Egypt, Algeria, Scotland, Paraguay, Tunisia, Côte d’Ivoire, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa.
Fourth level:
Jordan, Cape Verde, Ghana, Curacao, Haiti, New Zealand, along with 4 teams from the European playoff and 2 from the global playoff.
