An international arbitration team to lead the confrontation between Egypt and the UAE in the 2025 Arab Cup

The Arab Football Federation announced the refereeing team charged with managing the match between Egypt and the UAE in the second round of the 2025 Arab Cup, in a confrontation that is considered one of the strongest matches of the stage.

The refereeing match will be led by Swedish international referee Glenn Nyberg as referee, and he is assisted by his compatriot Mahboud Bigi as first assistant, and Andreas Söderqvist as second assistant. While Guatemalan Mario Escobar takes over as the fourth official.

In the “VAR” room, the task was assigned to the Swiss San Vidai as main video referee, and he is assisted by the Brazilian Rodolfo Toschi as an assistant video referee.
