Sharjah is close to contracting with Morais…the official announcement will be made within hours

An informed source revealed to “Emirates Al-Youm” that the Sharjah Club is very close to contracting with the former Al-Wahda coach, the Portuguese Jose Moraes, to succeed the former Serbian coach Milos, and the name of the coach and details of the contract between the two parties will be announced within the next few hours.
Moraes had left Al Wahda Club suddenly, even though the team currently occupies second place in the ADNOC Professional League standings until the eighth round, and also qualified for the round of 16 in the AFC Champions League for Elite Clubs, and the team has been performing at a distinguished level since the beginning of the current season.
Moraes is currently considered one of the best coaches in the UAE League, according to the positive results he achieved with Al Wahda in the recent period.
It is noteworthy that the Sharjah Club had terminated the contract of its former Serbian coach, Milos, and assigned the task temporarily to the national coach, Abdul Majeed Al-Nimr.
Al Wahda Football Club Company had previously announced in a press statement that the departure of coach Moraes came at his personal request.
