Sharjah coach Moraes before facing Al-Gharafa: He is accustomed to achieving victories

Sharjah’s Portuguese coach Jose Moraes confirmed Sharjah’s readiness to face Al-Gharafa tomorrow, Thursday, in the UAE-Qatari Super Cup, stressing that the “King’s” goal is to win the title, pointing out that Al-Gharafa playing the match on its home field and in front of its fans is not an advantage, since the stadium’s measurements, laws and atmosphere are all the same, as he put it.

Moraes said during the introductory press conference: “The match is an opportunity for the players to prove their ability to deal with any pressure and work to exploit the best circumstances, and our goal is to win the title.”
He explained: “We are accustomed to achieving victories, and playing in the opponent’s stadium will not be an obstacle to us achieving victory.”
Moraes revealed that his team is preparing for the match in a responsible manner, describing it as very important for them, and that he has a good squad to play the match, stressing that he is in the process of building a strong team, and that the players are doing their best to make their fans happy.
He continued: “I do not know what the conditions will be like during the match, but I will dance with joy if I win the title.”
Moraes confirmed that he knows Al-Gharafa player Joselu well, but he is currently focusing on his team.
The Sharjah coach considered that there are no similar matches in football, and that the UAE-Qatari Super match will not be like the UAE Super match that the team recently played against Shabab Al-Ahly, in which “The King” was crowned champion.
