المملكة: Revealing 6 categories of Hajj season packages… and residential options covering 4 areas in Mecca

The «Hajj rituals» affiliated with The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced the introduction of 6 different categories of Hajj packages for this year’s season, in a step aimed at meeting the needs of pilgrims of all segments, and enhancing the quality of the experience through multiple options in terms of length of stay, level of services, and residential locations.
The platform explained that the new packages were designed according to flexible standards that take into account the length of stay and mode of transportation, as they are divided into two main categories, each of which includes three packages, the first with the “transfer” feature and the second without it, allowing pilgrims to choose what suits their preferences. And their circumstances.
The luxury packages within these categories provide the highest levels of service, with a focus on providing a comfortable and upscale experience during the Hajj trip. The lengths of stay were determined according to the nature of each package, as the duration of the Al-Mashaer packages is 6 days, while the packages that do not include the transfer feature start from a minimum of 10 days, and rise to at least 14 days for the packages that include the transfer feature.
The platform also indicated the possibility of offering longer lengths of stay by service providers, to allow more flexibility for pilgrims.
Stay in Mecca
With regard to the feature “Transportation,” Hajj Hajj explained, means providing accommodation close to the holy sites during the days of Hajj, which contributes to facilitating the pilgrim’s access to his residence and personal belongings.
These packages also include additional accommodation in Mecca, whether before or after performing the rituals, and often near the Grand Mosque, to facilitate access to it during prayer times.
As for the packages that do not include the transportation feature, they provide accommodation. One for the pilgrim throughout his stay in Mecca, whether before or after performing the rituals, which gives the pilgrim greater stability without the need to move between more than one location.
Bus transportation services
In terms of spatial organization, the platform has identified 4 main areas for accommodation within Mecca, with the aim of enabling pilgrims to compare the available options according to the level of proximity to the Grand Mosque and the holy sites.
Area (A) includes the locations closest to the mosque. The Holy Mosque, which allows access to it on foot, and often overlooks its courtyards.
As for Area (B), it is located in the area surrounding Area (A), and is relatively close to the Holy Mosque and can be reached on foot, in addition to providing bus transportation services in some residences during prayer times.
Sites for performing rituals
Area (C) covers a wider area within Mecca, despite its relative distance from the Holy Mosque. And the Holy Sites, but it provides multiple accommodation options, with bus transportation services to facilitate access to the Haram.
While Area M is distinguished by its proximity to the Holy Sites, which makes it a suitable option for pilgrims during the period of stay in Mina, and provides ease of movement between the sites for performing the rituals and the residences.
This diversity in packages and locations comes within the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s direction to provide a more flexible and integrated Hajj experience, taking into account the different needs of pilgrims and giving them options. Multiple facilities that combine comfort, ease of transportation, and quality services.
