Save 400 illegal immigrants off the French coast

The French authorities announced the rescue of about 400 illegal immigrants, during the weekend, as part of a series of operations that took place off the French coast, while the immigrants were trying to cross into Britain on unsafe boats.
Last Saturday, about 220 people in Polonie Sur Mir, Dip and Kaleeh (northern France) were rescued, and two Somaliti women spent despite the attempts to revive their hearts, while five people were slightly injured, and several cases of low body temperature were recorded.
The day before yesterday, at least 176 immigrants, were saved, including a large number of wounded, and a teenager who was found aware of one of the beaches.
On Saturday morning, the body of a migrant was recovered in two Graved (north), and the Public Prosecution in Denkirk suggested that he had died a few days ago.
The number of deaths increases during the irregular crossing attempts of the French -British border, since the beginning of the year, to at least 27 people, according to a statistics conducted by Agence France -Presse based on official data.
Despite the continuous reinforcements of France to prevent irregular transit operations with financial support from the United Kingdom, the pace of these operations has not been declined. Since the beginning of the year, more than 32,000 people have succeeded in reaching the British coast on small boats, in a record number.
According to the British authorities, 895 migrants arrived, last Saturday, to the United Kingdom on 12 small boats, a very high rate of about 75 passengers in each boat.
A new immigration agreement between London and Paris, which entered into force last August, stipulates the exchange of immigrants between the two countries on the basis of the principle of “one for one”, for each person returned from the United Kingdom, London agrees to enter another immigrant from France legally.
But this procedure, which was subject to sharp criticism by NGOs, and faces judicial appeals, has no only a symbolic effect, and the vast majority of those wishing to migrate is deterred from an illegal transit attempt.
