Shabab Al-Ahly defeats Al-Bataeh in the “Basketball League”

The Shabab Al-Ahly team achieved a well-deserved victory over its guest, Al-Bataeh, by 14 points and with a score of (92-78), in a match between them today, Friday, at the opening of the sixth round of the first leg of the preliminary round of the Basketball League, while Al-Dhafra defeated its host, Al-Jazira, with a score of (78-76).
The tour will continue tomorrow, Saturday, with two matches, the first bringing together Al-Nasr and its guest Al-Sharjah, and Al-Wahda hosting Al-Wasl.
With its victory, Shabab Al-Ahly rose to the top of the overall standings temporarily with 11 points, a point ahead of Al-Sharjah and Al-Bataeh in second place, so Al-Nasr enters its match tomorrow with nine points and fourth place, and Al-Dhafra is temporarily alone in fifth place with eight points, a point ahead of Al-Jazira in sixth place, and two points behind Al-Wasl in seventh place, and Al-Wahda is at the bottom of the overall standings with five points.
